Meet Chef Corina

Born in the vibrant city of São Paulo and raised in Sorocaba, Brazil, Corina’s love for food began in the kitchens of the “Two Marias”—her grandmother and her mother. Together, they showed her that food is more than just something you eat; it’s an act of love, a way to connect, and sometimes, the best cure for a bad day.

Her grandmother, with her thriving herb garden and endless curiosity for spices, taught Corina the magic of transforming simple ingredients into dishes that made people gather around the table. Her mother, equally passionate, taught her that cooking from the heart brings a special kind of joy—one that shows up in every smile around the dinner table.

As Chef Corina grew, so did her passion. She experimented with family recipes, creating her own twists and watching the people she loved light up with every bite. That passion carried her from her home kitchen to Le Cordon Bleu, and later to the Park City Culinary Institute, where she refined her skills and developed her signature style.
Now, Chef Corina is rolling onto the streets of San Antonio, ready to share her culinary talents with the city she’s proud to serve. San Antonio—with its strong military community, unmistakable Texas spirit, and rich, colorful Mexican heritage—is the perfect place for Kunã Street’s next chapter.
It’s where Brazilian roots, Portuguese heritage, Mexican culture, and Texas pride meet at the table—creating something deliciously different while celebrating the cultures and people that make San Antonio so special. From juicy, handcrafted burgers to crispy, gluten-free waffles, every recipe is made with love, quality ingredients, bold flavors, and a dash of fun—because at Kunã Street, life is simply too short for boring food.
