Meet Corina

Born in the vibrant city of São Paulo and raised in Sorocaba, Brazil, Corina’s love for food began in the kitchens of the “two Marias”—her grandmother and her mother. Together, they showed her that food is more than just something you eat; it’s an act of love, a way to connect, and sometimes, the best cure for a bad day.

Her grandmother, with her thriving herb garden and endless curiosity for spices, taught Corina the magic of transforming simple ingredients into dishes that made people gather around the table. Her mother, equally passionate, taught her that cooking from the heart brings a special kind of joy—one that shows up in every smile around the dinner table.
As Corina grew, so did her passion. She experimented with family recipes, creating her own twists and watching the people she loved light up with every bite. That passion carried her from her home kitchen to Le Cordon Bleu, where she earned a degree in Restaurant and Hospitality Management, and later to the Park City Culinary Institute, where she refined her skills and developed her signature style.
Today, Corina blends her Brazilian roots, Portuguese heritage, and professional expertise in every dish she serves. From juicy, handcrafted burgers to crispy, gluten-free waffles, every recipe is created with love, quality ingredients, and a dash of fun—because at Kuna, life’s too short for boring dishes.
